After more than seven years of working together, Delogue visited Erve Europe in Brussels for two days of workshops, conversations, and hands-on collaboration. What started as a PLM implementation back in 2018 has grown into an ongoing partnership focused on improvements, ESG readiness, and the future of product development.
More than a system implementation
Back in 2021, we shared the story of how Erve Europe implemented Delogue to create one shared source of truth across teams, suppliers, and offices. At the time, the focus was digitalisation, reducing manual work, and creating better visibility across the product development process.
But both the industry and the way brands work have changed significantly since then. Compliance, supply chain transparency, ESG requirements, and operational efficiency have become part of everyday conversations. And with that shift, the way companies use their PLM systems has evolved too.
That is exactly why we travelled to Brussels. Not simply to “check in,” but to sit together with the Erve team and look at how their setup, workflows, and challenges have developed over time.
“Delogue & Erve Europe, step by step, each time better”
Siska De Wolf, Project Officer at Erve Europe
Looking closely at the daily workflow
Over the two workshop days, we moved between strategic discussions and very practical hands-on sessions. Together with the Erve team, we reviewed daily processes, discussed small operational hiccups, and explored where workflows could become smoother and more connected.
One of the most valuable parts of the visit was seeing how deeply the team has integrated Delogue into their daily work. Over the years, they have developed strong internal knowledge of the platform and created their own ways of working that fit their setup and pace.
At the same time, the workshops also opened conversations about unused features, modules, and opportunities that could support them even further going forward. Because operational excellence is never really “finished.” It develops continuously alongside the business itself.
ESG, compliance, and the next step forward
Naturally, ESG and compliance became a big part of the discussions. Regulations like GPSR, PPWR, and the growing expectations around supply chain transparency are already affecting the way apparel companies work.
Together, we explored how structured product data, supplier collaboration, and supply chain mapping can become part of everyday workflows instead of separate compliance exercises. The conversations moved from theory into practical questions. How do we gather the right information? Where should it live? And how do we make it manageable for teams and suppliers alike?
We also introduced some of the latest work happening in Delogue around the Supplier Module, supply chain mapping, and compliance-focused workflows connected directly to the product and components.
Partnership through continuous development
What stood out most during the visit was the openness and engagement from the Erve team. The workshops were filled with concrete observations, honest discussions, and curiosity about how to continue improving the way they work.
For us, this is exactly what a strong customer relationship should feel like. Not a finished project, but an ongoing collaboration where both sides continue learning, adjusting, and evolving together.
Because in today’s fashion industry, operational excellence is not built overnight. It is built through continuous improvements, shared knowledge, and partnerships that stay connected long after
“Implementation is only the beginning. The real value comes from continuing to grow and improve together.”
Jonas Midtgaard, Chief Executive Officer at Delogue PLM
