#DelogueUncovered: From Claims to Compliance

Welcome to the new edition of #DelogueUncovered - Just before the summer vacation, Head of Customer Success Ulla Bang and ESG Advisor Serina Slot Lauridsen hosted our latest live Q&A and covered everything from size chart improvements to batch item replacements, claims handling, and ESG reporting challenges. Here’s what stood out.

A new and improved size chart experience

Ulla kicked off the session with a walkthrough of the updated size chart module. While it may look different, the real value lies in the small but powerful updates. You can now:

  • Adjust column widths for longer point-of-measure descriptions.
  • Expand the view to see more styles at once. You can complete with metadata like supplier, season, and brand
  • Add files and general comments directly to the chart (including previews of Excel tabs without downloading)

These updates are designed to make navigating size charts more intuitive, especially for teams juggling many styles across seasons and suppliers.

“How do I tidy up my platform?”

If you're working with repeat styles across seasons, your style list can get cluttered fast. Ulla and Serina recommended using the Delivered state to archive completed styles. That way, they disappear from your main view but are still searchable for future reference.

Handling claims - the smart way

Got a quality issue? Delogue’s Compliance module makes it easy to track and resolve claims with your suppliers:

  • Create a quality topic for the issue (e.g., snap buttons coming undone)
  • Link it to affected styles
  • Upload documentation and photos
  • Communicate directly with supplier contacts
  • Add custom fields like product group, number of affected pieces, and required action

Once resolved, the case can be closed giving you a clear audit trail and fewer lost files in email threads.

Exporting compliance data

Need to report on your certificates or test results? Serina shared a quick tip: enable the “one row per style certificate” export option. This gives you a detailed overview of all data linked to your styles and gets sent directly to your inbox for easy access.

Managing your items in bulk

Creating a solid item library pays off. According to Ulla and Serina, investing time in item creation upfront means faster style development down the line and better DPP readiness.

They also demonstrated how to batch-replace items across multiple styles. Say a button supplier no longer meets your standards. With just a few clicks, you can switch to an improved item across all affected styles, notify suppliers, and document the change.

Water and energy data… what if your suppliers don’t have it?

This last question stepped a little outside the platform and into the broader ESG landscape. How should you handle water and energy reporting when your smaller suppliers aren’t tracking that data yet?

Serina’s advice: start with estimates and build from there. Share your intentions, collaborate with suppliers, and lean into the direction the industry is already heading. Over time, your efforts and those of others, will help move the needle.

She also recommended reviewing the Product Environmental Footprint Category Rules (PEFCR) for textiles. While the framework is still voluntary, it’s likely to play a big role in future DPP requirements, read more here about the ESPR workplan.

We hope this gave you some clarity!
